Meet your trainer
With over 17 years of experience in the dog grooming industry and a genuine passion for education, I am dedicated to developing the next generation of professional dog groomers through high-quality training, industry expertise, and a commitment to exceptional canine welfare.
My journey began in 2009, opening my first high-street salon in 2010. Since then, I have owned and operated high-street salons, mobile setups, and home-based studios, alongside spending three and a half years lecturing dog grooming at an Agricultural College.
I hold a City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming and Salon Management, Level 3 Award in Education and Training, Level 3 Award in Assessing (TAQA), Level 4 Award in Internal Quality Assurance (IQA), and the iPET Network Level 3 Award in Canine First Aid. My training academy offers Ofqual-regulated iPET Network qualifications designed to nurture confidence, compassionate handling, and genuine commercial competence.
Small-group learning with individual attention
Large college classrooms often leave students waiting for guidance. At my academy, training takes place in small cohorts, ensuring extensive practical time hands-on with dogs under close supervision. Flexible part-time and full-time schedules allow you to learn at your own pace without sacrificing existing work commitments.
Real commercial knowledge and business skills
Learning practical grooming is only half the journey. Benefit from commercial insights gathered since opening our first salon in 2010. We teach you safe restraint, styling techniques, salon management, and how to build positive relationships with nervous dogs and loyal clients.
